Patterns are beat patterns of sounds made with the mouth. They are usually 8-beat (8 sounds in a row), 16-beat (16 sounds in a row) or 32-beat (32 sounds in a row patterns). The Pattern page shows previews of patterns as Pattern Rows.
Clicking the SELECT button will take you to the individual pattern page where you can play the individual sounds in the pattern and watch a video.
To make it easier to find patterns they are divided into genre (pattern type) groups. Clicking on a genre icon in the top menu or a Pattern Row, for example ‘Funk’, will show all the Funk patterns.
Patterns are also grouped into Tempos (speeds). Tempos are are a quick way of finding patterns of a similar speed. The third icon in the Pattern Row shows which Tempo group the pattern belongs to. Clicking on this icon will take you to all patterns in the same Tempo group.
Patterns are also grouped into Levels; Easy, Medium, or Hard. This groups patterns on how difficult they are to make. The fourth icon in the Pattern Row shows the difficulty level of the pattern. Clicking on this icon will take you to all patterns (and sounds) with the same difficulty level.
The last icon in the Pattern Row is the play button which lets you hear an audio preview of the pattern.
